The Lava Hot Springs Foundation is excited to ho-ho-host the… SNOWMAN GAMES ENDURANCE SWIM at Lava Hot Springs’ Indoor Aquatic Center. Think of this like a community fun run… but swimming! Anyone can participate, but we recommend you possess the ability to swim strongly. Events are The Mile (1650 yards, 33 laps or 66 pool lengths) and/or 3,000 yards (60 laps or 120 pool lengths). Weather permitting, we will also hold a Snowman Building Competition and a ridiculous Winter Relay. Event registration is $10 but FREE if you bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots (suggested value $10).
“Swim with Santa” Noon-2pm, Indoor Aquatic Center, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Visit with Santa in the lobby! Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the US Marine Corps Reserves’ Toy for Tots program and get free admission to the swimming pool (not valid at hot pools).
Fire & Ice Winterfest Events
Dive-in-Movie featuring Pirates of the Caribbean
Friday February 2, 2018 at 6pm.
Doors open at 5:30pm. Tickets are just $5, refreshments will be sold separately by the Lava Heat Swim Team.
Sub Zero Superhero Endurance Swim
Saturday February 3, 2018 at 9am-11am
Part of the annual Lava Hot Springs Fire & Ice Winter Festival. Held at Lava Hot Springs’ Indoor Aquatic Center. Think of this like a community fun run… but swimming! Events will be held in the indoor 25 yard indoor pool and include the mile (1650 yards, 33 pool laps or 66 pool lengths) and/or 3,000 yards (60 pool laps or 120 pool lengths). Anyone can participate, but we recommend you possess the ability to swim strongly. Heroic efforts and costumes will be admired and given prizes both literal and figurative in nature.
Pre-register February 1st for a $15 entry fee to guaranteed event tshirt. Day-of “deck” registration available for $20 and probably includes tshirt, though sizing cannot be guaranteed. Download Registration Form

Fire & Ice Children's Water Carnival
Saturday February 3, 2018 from 11:30am to 1:30pm
A children’s Water Carnival will be held during Lava Hot Springs Fire & Ice Winter Festival at the Lava Hot Springs’ Indoor Aquatic Center. Admission for all ages. There will be games, prizes, and water fun. Events will be oriented towards a 12 and under crowd but all ages are welcome. Events include floatie relays, wall climb races, diving contests, and a splash event.
Fire & Ice Winterfest Open Swim Hours:
Friday February 3: Open swim will be from 12pm-5pm ONLY.
Saturday February 4: Open swim will be from 2pm-8pm.
The Lava Hot Springs Foundation is excited to host Kids Tri Lava--a three part race for kids 17 years and younger. Kids Tri Lava is a three part event: swim, bike, run. Youth, ages 5 to 17, who want to be sporty and have fun.
